Pity

Pity the one, the unvisited one
Who wrapped herself of praises
While in fact deserved none.
And now her counscience grazes
Such abhorrent dreadful fact.
Unrequested, alone
Shame befalls her, whom praises lack.
And though she did to deserve it
Pity her, for human she was.
